1. Eve client download fails CRC check - in Issues, Workarounds & Localization [original thread]
This is crazy. Just downloaded EVE via the bittorrent installer, and it failed the check like clockwork. I'm starting to feel a little bit like Pinky and the Brain. "What are we doing tonight?" "What we do EVERY night... TRY TO INSTALL EVE!"

2. Eve client download fails CRC check - in Issues, Workarounds & Localization [original thread]
I also get this error repeatedly when trying to install EVE. I'm trying to install it on my laptop and I've downloaded the full offline installer 3 times now, each time failing the CRC check on the 7-zip file in the package. It says: "CRC failed i...

Originally by: Clytamnestra I, for one, would throws some real world money at Grismar to get his webapps back up. Hosting can be expensive, unless you have people willing to donate cash for it. I would too. The webmaster really doesn't...

Hello all, A site I used to use for a long time to find very detailed info on everything - items, NPCs, etc, seems to have 'gone down' in a sense. http://eve.grismar.net/ is the site, and it was excellent with the best layout and info of any in...

8. You want AA+HDR on nvidia card... Look here! - in Test Server Feedback [original thread]
Hi all, I've been using nHancer to force AA to work with HDR on, and I can confirm it works. However, the weird thing is since the last Trinity update (The last one before Empyrean Age was deployed), AA will not work in windowed mode. This is pre...

10. EVE skips / stutters when in window mode - in Windows [original thread]
Ah, well it looks like I stumbled upon the solution! It appears that setting the 'Present Interval' setting to 'Interval default' was causing it to jitter in windowed mode. Resetting it to 'Interval Immediate' resolved the problem. I can't eve...

Edited by: DanielJackson SG1 on 23/04/2008 00:15:39 Well, I posted a bug report about it on the bug tracker, I was told to upload a logserver log (which I did) but haven't heard anything back yet. It's frustrating to think no one else has been...

12. amd xp rig --> premium graphics - in Windows [original thread]
Yes, the HD 2600 is definitely a good card for that price point. And there's no comparison to the Radeon 9800, as the 9800 is really very outdated by now. The HD 2600 would give you much more playable framerates; it competes with the GeForce 8600 ...
